PASCO Soccer Club and CJ Spartans Announcement
PASCO Soccer Club is proud to announce their partnership with the Central Jersey Spartans of the United Soccer Leagues (USL). This partnership will bring together 2 programs with a history of providing high level soccer teams in New Jersey. PASCO Soccer Club was formed in 1996 and has produced many high level club teams throughout the years while placing players at all levels of college and in the pro ranks. The CJ Spartans have been a member of the USL since 2009 and have supplied teams from U12-U20 boys and girls and include the Spartans semi-pro men’s PDL team which is a feeder program for high level college players whose aspirations are to be a professional soccer player. The Spartans have been a great contributor to MLS teams even with its short history. In addition, the Spartans’ parent company, Premier Soccer Group, provides camps, clinics and organizes custom international tours.
Merging the two entities will provide both PASCO and the Central Jersey Spartans with new opportunities to grow youth soccer programs in the Central NJ area, with a powerhouse staff of professionals at the helm. PASCO Club President, David Vivino, will lead the merged organizations along with founder and owner of Central Jersey Spartans, Sal Amato.
In coming together, these 2 clubs will be able to provide players throughout the state of NJ a one stop shop for their soccer needs. Teams will participate in the Super Y League for the 2013 season and train at various locations in North and Central New Jersey.
PASCO Director of Coaching, Giovanni Ormaeche, and Spartans Director of Coaching, Walter Bustamante, will lead the coaching efforts of the teams, joined by the many highly experienced and qualified coaches of both organizations. The coaches will be able to share curriculums and ideas to better prepare themselves for giving the best soccer education in the state.
PASCO Soccer Club President, Dave Vivino, and CJ Spartans Owner, Sal Amato, are excited about the endless possibilities that these 2 groups can bring together. "From teams, to camps and clinics… players will be able to receive the best soccer experience to prepare them for college and beyond, said Vivino. "Joining forces with PASCO will allow us to provide the absolute best youth soccer training and development programs in the region,’’ said Spartans Founder Sal Amato. "Our mutual goal is to provide a safe, healthy and fun environment for our kids to learn and love to play soccer."
This merger will allow both entities to combine resources to provide a quality soccer environment and stepping stones for soccer in the Central New Jersey and beyond. This program will join the elite status of a few clubs in the country that will provide a comprehensive program from the recreational level to the development of professional players in the PDL.
Other features will include expansion of the current youth club, additional camp opportunities.
